Joslyn is the founder of OrangeLedger. She has over twenty years of accounting experience and is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
Her introduction to bookkeeping came earlier than most. As a teenager, she helped her father manage the finances across multiple businesses. That wasn't a classroom exercise. It was real accounts payable, real payroll, real conversations about cash flow and whether the numbers could support the next decision. She learned what it looks like when the books are clean and what falls apart when they're not.
That foundation shaped how she works today. Joslyn understands bookkeeping from the business owner's side. She knows that a financial report only matters if it answers the question you're actually asking. And she knows that the numbers are never the end goal. The decisions they support are.
Over the years, she has worked across a wide range of industries including trucking and logistics, childcare centers, medical practices, spas, and professional consulting firms. That variety means she adapts quickly to how a business operates and what its specific financial pressures look like.
